Year 6 Champions League Champions!

Earlier this term each class appointed 'football reps' to form the 'football committee' of the Year 6 Champions League. This committee helped to manage the first tournament in Year 6 by registering players, creating mixed ability teams, refereeing matches and updating the league table.

After nearly four weeks of competition - over both break and lunch times - between our 8 Champions League teams, I'm pleased to announce that Manchester City (see picture below) came out on top! Congratulations!!

A big well done must also go to all of the 70+ players who took part for showing great maturity, respect and teamwork both on and off the pitch. Now our second competition has kicked off this week, lets build on our success and make sport a happy part of our school life.
