Meet the Owls!

The Owls is an amazing group of learners, each with their own strengths and awesome personalities. Here they are to introduce themselves to you!

Hi, my name is Suha and I am 10 years old. I am from Palestine and I love gymnastics and horse riding. My favorite subject in school is Islamic and maths. I have two brothers and one sister. I have a great time in school learning and playing with my friends. I love drawing and creating abstract masterpieces. I just LOVE art!! :)

Hi I’m Skye and I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2013. I have really enjoyed my time living here. In Scotland I have a very special furball of a dog named Patch and I had a hamster named Munchkin that died last year. I am 10 years old andlike to dance and I have been dancing for seven years (since I was three). My favourite subjects are English and swimming; I also really enjoy reading - some of my favourites are The Hunger Games and the Agatha Parrot books. I am currently reading A Parcel For Anna Browne by Miranda Dickinson and I am really enjoying it. I have one brother and my best friends are Hannah and Poppy. I love school because I get to meet new friends and learn new things.I also really like to cook, especially with my dad. My favourite thing to do with my family is go to the cinema and my favourite movie right now is Disney's BFG. In Year 6, I am looking forward to the chocolate sale and Greek day. My old school was tiny! Al Yasmina is triple the size. I am really excited about being in the Owls, working with all my friends and working with my teacher, Mrs. Chant!

Hi I'm Meera I am from the U.A.E and Yemen. I have two sisters and their names are Maitha and Maram and I have no brothers. I was born in London and I love maths. I had two birds that flew away and I bought two more birds that died from age. I have fifteen friends and more. I enjoy being with my friends and I love swimming and horse riding. My favourite years in school are Year 6 and Year 5 and my birthday is October 28th. I am in love with bags and puzzles!

Hi, my name is Talie I am 10 and I love animals. I have lived in the UAE my whole life. I'm half Canadian and half Palestinian. My birthday is July 12 and my favourite subjects are maths, ICT and art. I love drawing and I’m currently in a drawing competition. I do gymnastics and football and I am wishing, to get a lead part in KS2 production. My best friends are Layla, Lara, Maryam, Mia and Suha. I'm in Year 6 and I have been in Al Yasmina from FS. This year my teacher is Mrs. Chant. I have 2 siblings; one’s in year 8 (a boy) and one’s still small (a girl). I'm looking forward to the chocolate sale as I love cookies and chocolate!

Hi I'm Rashed. I’m 10 turning 11 years old and I’m happy to be in the Owls class. My hobby is to play football and swimming. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I like also like to play video games like Roblox, Minecraft, Growtopia and Call of Duty Black Ops III. I like Real Madrid my least favourite subject is maths and I hate Pokemon go xD

I’m Emile. I have a dog named Ceaser who is a Siberian Husky. I'm obsessed with Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. I won a 300m running race in 43.57 sec. I'm also a model and I love acting. I'm a happy person and I love to workout - I'm a bodybuilder! I love ICT and computers I love saussy the sausage dog. I love basketball too!

Hi I'm Jayden and I am 10 years old. I have 1 older brother and my favourite subjects are history and language. My favourite game is Minecraft. The best thing about Al Yasmina Academy are the teachers. I have lived in Abu Dhabi my whole life but I come from Austrailia and Papua New Guinea. My favourite hobby is GOLF. My favourite show is Star Trek and my favourite creature in Star Trek are the Klingons - I even speak a little of their language. I like acting and modelling I have been doing it since I was 4 and I love writing stories.

Hi my name is Adham. I'm from Egypt and I am 10 years old. I moved to Abu Dhabi 1 month after my birth. I lived in a small apartment with my mom and dad and sister. My favorite hobbies are swimming, football, horse riding, cooking and Pokemon Go. My most precious personal items are my xbox one, my phone, my ipad and my tv. I used to have a nanny. I have a cat called Shady but she wasn't our cat - it was our neighbors but they moved to the USA forever and they left the cat with us. She's so active. Whenever you calm her down she’s really sweet and kind but she's really rough when you play. I already mentioned that I play football but I didn’t say whereI play, at Regional Sports Academy. I like to play as a goalkeeper and I'm good at it. My best friends are Steven, Sudki and Charles. I also go to a place called the Royal Stables which is where I do my horse riding. I also have the best teacher ever in year 6 she is called Mrs Chant and whenever you go to Year 6 always hope to get Mrs Chant. It is always so cool to be on top of the chain in primary - you get to have more privileges when you are in Year 6. I also had surgery 2 months ago because I had flat feet. Last thing... when I grow up I have 2 aims - to be a goalkeeper in football matches or a pilot. That's my story of my life!

My favourite game is Minecraft and my favourite restaurant is Hardees. My favourite subject is topic and I am not looking forward to SATS!! I'm good at spelling and when I grow up I want to be a director of MOVIES. I have black hair and Ii also play Roblox. I like animals a lot - my favorite animals are sugar gliders and dogs!

I used to play with Man City. My favourite friends are Adham, Steven and Charles. I love Al Yasmina Academy and I like Clash Royal and I'm in arena 5. I play Clash of Clans and I'm in town hall 9. My favourite car is Bugatti and I like Minecraft. All of the games I mentioned are on XBOX One. I also like playing Rainbow 6 and The Division - it is the best game in the world.

Hi, my name is Molly and I am 10 year old. I have one brother called Daniel who is in year 12. My hobbies are ice skating and gymnastics. I have been doing gymnastics for eight years. Mrs Chant is my favourite teacher ever, I love her so much. When I was little, we were at a soft play and my brother kicked me in the eye with a ball and it was bleeding so I had to go to the hospital. When I was 2 we came back from shopping and my mum put the key in the door and I went in in. I locked the door behind me and then I went to get crisps and watch TV. Then the lady next door came and said if you come out then I will give you a box of chocolates then she went….. And she came back with a box of chocolates. I opened the door then!

Hello! My name is Steven. I love Pokèmon Go! I really love the original Pokemon games on the D.S! My best friend is Sudki! We both love playing the D.S! My favourite game on the D.s is Super Smash Bros! My favourite Pokèmon game is Pokèmon Alpha Sapphire! It's awesome, trust me. I love Boom Beach, Clash of Clans And Clash Royal. In Boom Beach I'm H.Q 20! In Clash Of Clans I’m town hall 11 and have an Archer Queen level 34 and I have a level 28 Barbarian King! I have 2 TV's and I have a XBox One S. My favourite games on the XBox One S are Minecraft (sort of) and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Tom Clancy’s The Division and Halo 5! My class is the best and the most AWESOME! Especially Mrs Chant, she’s the BEST!

Hi everyone my name is Sara and I'm 10 years old. I am from India however I lived in Abu Dhabi for all my life. I am attending Al Yasmina Academy. I love music and I got my first singing solo when I was about 3 years old. I play piano and passed my first exam. In India my current dog is a Rottweiler named Astro and have also have a cat. I have never seen snow but am planning to go in the winter. My dog that died was a brown and white spotty dog named Rosey. I love reading and I love animals. I love playing Minecraft and I also love baking. I am in Yr6 Owls #bestclassever. My teacher is Mrs Chant and she is #Amazing.
